The unit's mission is to investigate children's and young people's need for protection and support, as well as follow up on interventions. This involves open interventions as well as placements in residential care homes (HVB), SIS institutions, and temporary placements.

The work is carried out independently, together with a colleague and with the support of a team leader. This means planning, processing, and documenting cases, but also leading meetings and coordinating work with others. It requires skill in communicating and collaborating with children, young people, and their families, as well as colleagues and cooperation partners. Society and children's needs change, which requires openness to learning new things, developing yourself, and the methods of work at the unit.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who have a social work degree and experience with investigative work.

To succeed in your role as a social secretary:

• You work to follow statutory requirements, policies, and instructions, as well as adhere to set timelines.
• You have the ability to see what needs to be prioritized and organized, are efficient, and use resources to achieve results in the best possible way.
• You work legally secure and have good assessment skills.
• You are good at working both independently and together with others; you are perceived as stable, have an easy time building trust, and always strive to provide a good reception.
• You easily create and maintain good relationships and collaborate well with people in different contexts and functions.

You have good initiative and understand spoken and written communication well. You have good documentation habits and can express yourself in speech and writing. You adapt your language to different situations and functions.

You have experience with BBIC (Children's Needs at the Center) and SoS (Signs of Safety).

A driver's license and good driving skills are required for the position.

A certificate of good conduct (extract from the police register) is required for this position. This will only be requested from the final candidate in the last step of the recruitment process.
