As one of our long-standing employees is retiring after nearly 50 years at Berners, we are now looking for a new Spare Parts Advisor for Heavy Vehicles in Sundsvall. In this role, you play a central part in ensuring the workshop has the right parts at the right time – while providing professional service to our external customers.

About the Spare Parts Department

The Spare Parts Department is a crucial support function for the workshop, responsible for ensuring an efficient supply of spare parts to mechanics, service advisors, and external customers, with a focus on Scania trucks. In Sundsvall, three spare parts advisors work closely with the workshop team to create a smooth and efficient workflow.

About the Role

As a Spare Parts Advisor, you have a key role in the daily workshop operations. You ensure that the right parts are available at the right time and act as a support to mechanics and service advisors.

Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Daily support and advice to the workshop's mechanics and service advisors
• Planning and ensuring spare parts needs are met for scheduled jobs
• Ordering and purchasing spare parts based on the needs of the workshop and customers
• Picking and preparing parts for ongoing and upcoming jobs
• Customer service in-store as well as via phone and email
• Administrative tasks such as inventory control and invoicing
• Receiving, unpacking, and handling incoming goods
• Continuous inventory and maintaining order in the warehouse

Qualifications

To succeed in this role, we look for:

• Experience in customer service and contact
• Proficiency in working with IT systems
• Valid driver's license (Category B)
• Good communication skills in Swedish and English, both verbal and written

Experience from a workshop, the automotive industry, or spare parts handling is considered an advantage.

You work in a structured manner, are detail-oriented, and take responsibility for ensuring smooth workflows between the warehouse and the workshop.

The role is partly physically demanding, meaning you need to have good basic physical fitness.
