Your Role

Saab is looking for an AI and Data Product Manager for our AI and Data initiative. You will work in a strategic key role with significant influence, responsible for what we build, why we build it, and how it creates real value for the business.

You will drive the development of AI and data products that enable tomorrow's agentic systems, where autonomous and collaborative AI components analyze, decide, and act in complex environments. These solutions are used in everything from Gripen and advanced sensor systems to autonomous underwater systems and modern command platforms.

You will operate in an environment with high technical complexity and security requirements, where clear prioritization, long-term thinking, and value focus are crucial.

In this role, you will:

• define the product vision and strategy for AI and data
• drive the roadmap for agentic systems and data products
• prioritize initiatives based on business value, impact, and feasibility
• ensure AI solutions move from concept to operational use
• coordinate cross-functional teams and product owners
• act as a bridge between technology, business, and management
• monitor impact, usage, and continuous improvement

Your Profile

We are looking for you who have extensive experience in product management within AI, data, or complex software development, and who want to take overall responsibility for product strategy in a technically advanced organization. You are a clear leader who creates direction through prioritization, communication, and the ability to translate complexity into concrete decisions.

You have experience with:

• defining product strategy and roadmap in complex environments
• AI and data in production environments
• how data products and AI solutions create business and operational value
• working closely with engineering teams and translating technology into utility
• leading without formal authority in cross-functional organizations
• thriving in a role that combines strategic thinking with operational execution, influencing both direction and results.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering or equivalent technical education
• Several years of experience in product management within AI, data, or software
• Good understanding of AI, data platforms, and system architecture
• Experience with cloud platforms and modern development environments
• Strong communication skills in Swedish and English
