As a Customer Service Representative, you will be a central point in supporting user organizations by providing fast and competent technical support. With a combination of technical problem-solving and administrative tasks, you will have the opportunity to contribute directly to societal functions of vital importance while making a real difference for our users every day in our services Rakel, WIS, and SGSI.

Your responsibilities and tasks

As a Customer Service Representative within our technical customer service, you will be central to ensuring that societal functions of vital importance communicate optimally. In this role, you handle both administrative and technical support cases. You are responsible for receiving and processing orders related to subscriptions and their structure in the network, while also performing troubleshooting, fault analysis, and actions to resolve technical issues for our users.

The role involves extensive customer and user contact, and you maintain a broad network both within and outside the agency. You act as a key link between user organizations and our operations to ensure cases are handled correctly and efficiently. You manage orders, configuration changes, invoices, agreements, and compile relevant documentation.

Together with other employees, you ensure that information and work processes are kept up-to-date and relevant. You actively contribute to creating and improving routines, instructions, and documentation in our knowledge base. At the same time, you contribute more long-term to the administration of operations and actively participate in ongoing development projects.

This role offers a combination of customer contact, technical problem-solving, and administrative tasks where you have the opportunity to make a real difference for society's critical communication services.

Your skills and competencies

We are looking for you who have:

  • A high school diploma.
  • Several years of experience in customer service and/or technical support.
  • Experience using case management systems.
  • Good ability to speak and write fluently in Swedish and English.

It is meritorious if you have:

  • Education and/or experience in IT/telecom.
  • Experience working in a government agency.
  • Experience working with Tactilon.
  • Experience in customer service or technical support with a mobile operator.
  • Experience working with TETRA systems, for example Rakel.

About the employment

We offer you a permanent full-time position starting with a probationary period. Your place of work will be in Stockholm, and travel within the employment will occur.

The majority of our positions involve security clearance. Swedish citizenship is usually required. In the case of security clearance, a security investigation with register check will be conducted prior to employment according to Chapter 3 of the Security Protection Act. Most employees at the Swedish Civil Contingencies Agency are war-placed.
