About Us

The Infection and Lung Clinic is a county clinic specializing in infectious and lung diseases as well as specialized adult allergy care. We have five outpatient units: the Infection Clinic, Lung Clinic, Allergy Clinic, Needle Exchange Clinic, and Diagnostic Center. We also have an inpatient ward with 22 beds.

We are now looking for a nurse to join our team at the Lung Clinic.

As a nurse at the clinic, you will work together with nursing assistants, doctors, and administrative staff.

Our Lung Clinic covers various specializations. Here, nurses and nursing assistants work with clinic operations, nurse contacts for lung cancer, as well as ventilator and oxygen nurses. Within these specializations, nursing work is independent, including running your own nurse-led clinics.

Your Responsibilities

You will primarily assist with bronchoscopy examinations and other pulmonary procedures. Duties include day surgery care during biopsies, preparing patients for doctor visits, performing spirometry, providing advice via teleQ, and planning other clinic activities. You will learn the overall workflow at the Lung Clinic. Our future goal is to launch independent nurse-led clinics, for example for COPD and fibrosis. If you are interested in assisting with various procedures and desire a varied role, this is the right job for you.

Your Qualifications

We welcome you if you are a licensed nurse in healthcare with a few years of experience. You are confident and stable in your profession, have good collaboration skills, and a positive attitude towards your work. You are open to change and enjoy planning and structuring your work efficiently. Experience and education in pulmonary care and clinic operations are meritorious.

Employment type and degree of employment: Permanent position, 100% Monday-Friday daytime hours.
