Do you want to work in a technical and important role where structure, precision, and system understanding make a big difference in projects? Granitor Electro is now looking for a Designer within Building Automation for our office in Årsta. Here you will have a central role in the contracting group and become a key support to project managers and colleagues in creating smart, energy-efficient, and sustainable building technical solutions.
As a Designer, you will work closely with the projects and contribute with documentation, design, and technical data that ensures quality throughout the entire project lifecycle. The role suits you if you have a background in building automation, or alternatively HVAC or electrical engineering, and enjoy combining technology, order, and problem-solving.

Job Responsibilities
As a Designer, you work on-site from our office in Årsta and support project managers and project teams with design work in contracting projects within building automation. The role is varied and involves producing, compiling, and ensuring technical data needed for projects to be carried out efficiently and with high quality.
Examples of job responsibilities:
- Produce material specifications
- Design operation diagrams
- Compile material orders
- Produce and update IO-lists
- Work with operation and maintenance folders
- Support project managers with technical data and documentation
- Collaborate with project managers, technicians, programmers, and installers
- Contribute to structure, quality, and clarity in project documentation
The role is based at the office in Årsta, where you work closely with project managers and other colleagues within building automation.
We are looking for you who:
- Have experience or knowledge within building automation, or alternatively an HVAC or electrical engineering background
- Have good technical understanding and interest in building technical systems
- Are structured, precise, and have a good sense of order
- Enjoy working with technical data, documentation, and design
- Can communicate fluently in Swedish and have a good understanding of technical documentation
- Have good computer skills and find it easy to get into technical systems and working methods
Meritorious:
- Experience of design within building automation
- Knowledge of HVAC systems, control and regulation technology, or electrical installations
- Experience of producing operation diagrams, IO-lists, material specifications, or DU documentation
- Accustomed to working in contracting projects
- Experience with relevant CAD, design, or documentation tools
