Description

Support Housing Slussen is a time-limited initiative within the Adult Unit of the Social Services. The facility currently consists of seven satellite apartments scattered throughout the regular housing stock. The target group is the clients of the Adult Unit, and the need for support housing is assessed and approved by social workers in consultation with the manager and supervisors.

Responsibilities

The manager is responsible for the acquisition, furnishing, and maintenance of the apartments, ensuring they are kept in good condition. A key part of the role is ensuring that clients receive the support they need according to their care plans. This involves regular follow-ups and revisions of implementation plans to ensure positive development for the individual.

The goals of the initiative vary depending on the individual's needs. Examples of goals include maintaining sobriety or drug-free status, support in seeking employment and permanent housing, assistance with contacts with healthcare and authorities, or support in cases of violence exposure. Good collaboration with internal and external actors is crucial. The role also includes documentation such as case recording, work with implementation plans, and revising and updating guidelines for support housing.

We have a high degree of collaboration within the unit and support each other as needed. In addition to tasks related to Support Housing, you will also perform other duties within the Adult Unit, such as accompanying clients on placement trips and assisting with various cases.

Qualifications

• At least a two-year post-secondary education in social work, preferably with a focus on harmful substance use/addiction and domestic violence.
• Good knowledge of societal functions.
• Required experience working with adults with harmful substance use, addiction, and exposure to violence.
• Knowledge and experience with alcohol and drug testing is advantageous.
• Knowledge about perpetrators of violence is advantageous.
• Personal maturity, stability, ability to build relationships, and good teamwork skills.
• Clarity in communication and strong problem-solving abilities.

The employment is governed by IFO's seven-hour agreement, which means normal working hours are 08:00–16:00, Monday to Friday, with a full-time salary. Evening and weekend work may occur to a limited extent. Interviews are conducted on an ongoing basis, and a probationary period may be applied.
