If you are the one we are looking for, we can offer a varied job in a knowledge-intensive environment where you get to make a difference every day.

Your Assignment

In the role of analyst at the unit providing the TDV, you perform network data analysis to identify IT attacks directed at Sweden's most protected operations. Your main task is to assess alarms generated by the system and, based on these, produce in-depth analyses of threats or signs of attacks. You will become part of an analyst team that, alongside the main task, systematically works on developing both the system and the team's analytical and technical capabilities.

In the role of analyst, your main tasks primarily consist of:

  • Analyzing and assessing incidents and cyberattacks occurring at external clients.
  • Working in projects aimed at increasing FRA's ability to detect threats and attacks.
  • Collaborating and interacting both internally within FRA and with external clients.

We offer a flexible role with development opportunities shaped by your level of experience. Based on your background and ambitions, you will have the opportunity to both work in and lead technology/system development projects.

Domestic and international travel may occur in the position.

  • Knowledge of programming, e.g., in Python and Bash.
  • Knowledge of network traffic and data communication.
  • Experience in leading a group.
  • Interest in CTFs or other technical challenges, such as malware, IT forensics, or network traffic.

On https://challenge.fra.se (https://challenge.fra.se), there are several previous CTF challenges. If you wish, you can try to solve one of them – we can use it as a discussion basis during the interview. Mention in your application documents if you have solved a Challenge.
