Together with Ottobock, we are one of the world's leading suppliers in orthopaedic technology. We receive patients via referral, as well as private individuals in need of prostheses, orthoses, seating aids, and orthopaedic shoes or insoles. Ottobock Care in Stockholm is part of Ottobock Care Sweden and has one of the largest orthopaedic technology operations in the country. Today, approximately 70 employees work with us across various professional categories, and we have extensive in-house production of our assistive devices. We also have a specialist team for arm prostheses and a rehabilitation team following amputation. We work with all types of assistive device categories.
About the Role
As a licensed Orthopaedic Technician, your main responsibility will be patient consultations involving the fitting of all types of orthopaedic technology assistive devices. You will be involved in developing our operations, which can range from product assortment to improving our internal processes. Your role includes collaborating with other healthcare personnel within the region, and you will also participate in our on-call service for hospitals.
You will work in a dynamic environment characterized by deep knowledge and high professional pride. You will have a key role and be part of an engaged and competent team where collaboration and knowledge sharing are central. Our work aims to improve the quality of life for people by enhancing their mobility and independence.
What We Offer
The position is a permanent full-time employment with a location in Bergshamra. Working hours are according to schedule, during daytime. Start date is by agreement. We have a collective agreement, which means you are covered by collective agreement insurances. Travel for work purposes may occur.

If you are a recent graduate from the Orthopaedic Technology program, you will have the opportunity to participate in a 2-year trainee program with us. As an Orthopaedic Technician with us, you can also apply for a position in one of our competence teams.
About You
We are looking for you who are a licensed Orthopaedic Technician. A license and a degree from the Orthopaedic Technology program in Jönköping or equivalent are required for your application to be processed. An exception applies to you who are a recent graduate and have not yet received a license from the National Board of Health and Welfare. Experience working as an Orthopaedic Technician is meritorious. You are computer literate and fluent in Swedish and English, both in speech and writing.
You work proactively and independently, turning ideas into practical action. When a problem arises, you focus your energy on finding solutions and maintain your focus on the goal. You plan, organize, and prioritize your work while meeting deadlines. In collaboration with others, you contribute knowledge and experience, while being receptive, respectful, and focused on the best interests of the group.
