We are now looking for a team leader for our western work team on Orust. Here you will combine your profession as a priest, deacon, or church musician with a clear mandate to lead, coordinate, and develop operations together with dedicated colleagues.

The work team operates in Tegneby, Morlanda, Ellös, Hälleviksstrand, and Mollösund, as well as on the islands of Käringön, Flatön, and Gullholmen – an environment where the church's presence is a natural part of people's lives.

About the position

As a team leader, you have clear responsibility for leading, planning, and following up on operations in the western work team. You create structure in daily life, hold the work together, and contribute to developing a vibrant parish life together with the employees.

The role involves both operational presence in the activities and coordinating leadership.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate the work team in daily operations.
• Plan, prioritize, and follow up on operations.
• Conduct workplace meetings.
• Sign off on time reports, fees, and invoices.
• Contribute to the development of operations in the area.
• Act as a link between the work team and management.

We are looking for you who

• Are an ordained priest, deacon, or qualified church musician/conductor.
• Have an interest in, and preferably experience of, team leadership.
• Thrive in a role where you can combine leadership and operational work.
• Are confident in your professional role and have a strong grounding in the Church of Sweden's faith and life.
• Have a good ability to create structure and encourage cooperation and engagement.

Conditions

• The position is full-time (100%).
• Permanent employment.
• A six-month probationary period applies.

Requirements for the position

• Valid driver's license and access to a car.
• Membership in the Church of Sweden.
• Support for the Church of Sweden's core values.
• A certificate of good conduct (extract from the criminal record) will be requested prior to employment.
