This is a job for you if you are driven, want to develop in your professional role, and contribute to the health and quality of life for those living with us. Here you get good working hours, work independently, and have the freedom to shape your workdays.
Villa Kristineberg opened in March 2026 in Vallentuna. We are looking for you who want to work as an hourly substitute nurse during daytime hours, Monday–Sunday.
At Vardaga, you also get engaged colleagues, skilled managers, training opportunities, career prospects, and several benefits.
Here are some highlights of our offer to you:
Good schedule and working hours: Monday–Sunday daytime.
High quality and support through clear routines: Easy-to-implement routines, policy documents, checklists, and quality management systems provide you with comprehensive support in your work.
Competence development: You have access to Vardaga’s internal training organization, Lära, with a wide range of courses. You also have the opportunity to apply for educational leave to become a specialist nurse.
Career opportunities: As a nurse, you can advance to become a unit manager or operations manager for a care facility.
Good leadership and short decision-making paths: Your manager is close by for support and to bounce ideas off. One of the facility’s nurses is also always part of the local management group.
Community and support: You work closely with nursing colleagues, group managers, and care staff. Within Vardaga, there is a national network for nurses to exchange inspiration and knowledge.
About the role
You are the hub around the residents' health and medical care efforts and work to provide quality of life. You are responsible for ensuring medical orders are followed. You regularly conduct risk assessments and follow-ups to ensure high quality in operations.
Collaboration and support
You are part of a team with care staff, nurses, occupational therapists, and physiotherapists. An important role for you is to coach and educate the care staff so that together you give each resident the best possible life. In this job, you work closely with the facility's group managers who are responsible for the care staff. Our group managers also coach and work together with the teams in daily work.
Getting to know the residents
Understanding the residents' wishes and noticing small changes in their health and medical conditions are often crucial for correct assessments and decisions.
Clear routines
To create security and clarity for you as a nurse, there is extensive support in the form of practical and easy-to-implement routines, policy documents, and checklists.
About Villa Kristineberg
Villa Kristineberg is a modern senior living facility with 60 places focused on dementia and somatic care. The facility is state-of-the-art and features a beautiful garden and balconies.
Your experience and knowledge
You are a registered nurse, and we would like you to have worked a few years in elder care. Our residents are often multi-morbid, which requires you to have broad knowledge of various diseases and conditions, as well as an interest in the aging human being. Good computer skills and experience with documentation are important.
We wish that you:
enjoy working independently and having the freedom to shape your workdays
are confident in your role as a nurse and can make quick decisions and discuss with the responsible physician
take initiative, are resilient, and dare to take charge
