We are now looking for a Production Manager for our factory in Laxå, a person who wants to be close to the operations and actively contribute to building the production of the future.

Job Description

Hagmans Nordic AB is now seeking a future-oriented Production Manager with leadership potential for our facility in Laxå. This role suits you if you are at the beginning or middle of your career and want to grow quickly, take responsibility early, and make a real impact.

The Production of the Future at Hagmans

Hagmans is on a development journey where we will gradually move towards a more data-driven and digitalized, stable, and proactive production.

Today, we are working on creating structure and starting to track key figures for production, quality, and efficiency. The next step involves using analysis, automated insights, and future tools like AI support to a greater extent to understand why deviations occur and where improvements will have the greatest effect. You are not expected to be an expert in AI or analysis, but curiosity, drive, and a willingness to work in a data-driven manner are what matter most.

Your Main Responsibilities:

• Lead and develop daily production work
• Personnel responsibility for approx. 20 employees, including supervision, follow-up, development discussions, and competence development
• Ensure efficient production planning and resource utilization
• Drive improvement work within productivity, quality, and working environment
• Actively work with modern methods in production control and flow optimization
• Follow up on key figures and translate data into concrete actions
• Coach and develop employees in production
• Ensure compliance with safety and quality requirements

As a Production Manager, you will have the opportunity to:

Qualifications

• University degree or Civil Engineer education in Industrial Economics, Production Technology, Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent
• At the beginning or middle of your career with experience in an industrial environment
• High drive, leadership potential, and willingness to take responsibility
• Analytical, structured, and interested in improvement work
• Thrives close to production and wants to combine operational work with development

You are a person with high drive, strong curiosity, and a desire to develop. You thrive close to production, work in a structured manner, and want to use data and analysis to make better decisions and drive practical improvements.

You are also:

• Present and engaged in daily production
• Analytical and enjoy working with facts and follow-ups
• Curious about how data, analysis, and future AI support can be used as decision support
• Confident enough to test new things, follow up, and adjust
• Communicative and builds trust through dialogue and clarity

You are motivated by:

• Developing both people and working methods
• Being part of shaping how production will work moving forward
