Do you want to work in an open and dynamic environment where both professional and personal development are in focus? We are now looking for a driven and engaged Project Buyer for an exciting consultancy assignment in Finspång.

About the role

In this role, you will become a central part of the project procurement organization and be responsible for your own supplier base. You will act as the hub in the supply chain with many interfaces – both internal and external – with suppliers worldwide. Here you will have the opportunity to work in an international environment with varied tasks, where structure, problem-solving, and collaboration are crucial for success.

The desired start date is early August for a 1-year contract with the possibility of extension.

Main responsibilities

Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Negotiating project-specific purchase orders based on agreed terms and price lists.
  • Ensuring compliance with guidelines, purchasing policies, and routines.
  • Building and developing long-term supplier relationships.
  • Ensuring delivery precision and handling any delivery deviations.
  • Collaborating closely with internal functions regarding procurement-related matters.
  • Identifying and driving improvements within the supply chain and working methods.
  • Preparing and administering purchase orders.
  • Actively participating in digitalization and development initiatives.

Who are you?

We are looking for someone who has:

  • Experience in purchasing and procurement, or relevant education.
  • Experience working in SAP or similar business systems.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to build relationships.
  • An analytical and solution-oriented mindset.
  • Good prioritization skills and the ability to work in a structured manner.
  • Commercial understanding and business acumen.
  • Fluent spoken and written Swedish and English.
