You will work closely with people who, for various reasons, need care, support, and services.

A large part of the job involves supporting and motivating care recipients to do what they can themselves, in order to live as independent a life as possible.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who are responsible, secure, and flexible. You have an easy time building relationships and are attentive and receptive to others. You enjoy working both independently and as part of a team. You should have a solution-oriented mindset and find it easy to collaborate with the individual in focus.

It is an advantage if you have education or are studying within care and nursing. Experience in similar work or other life experience is something we value.

You have good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written.

You are computer literate and confident in documenting in journal systems, as well as using email and other digital tools. You must also be able to handle phone contact professionally – with relatives, healthcare staff, and other partners.

You will work closely with other professions to help and support the resident to a dignified life and well-being according to their own prerequisites.

Arjeplog Municipality has decided on a salary bonus for the individual who is employed as a substitute in a shortage occupation and possesses the correct competence for the profession. Nursing assistant is currently a shortage occupation. The bonus is paid to those who receive a temporary position of at least 6 months. The substitute bonus is calculated based on the same principles as the salary bonus and is paid out in 6-month intervals. If the temporary position turns into a permanent position, the bonus form changes to a salary bonus. The maximum amount of the substitute bonus shall not exceed the maximum amount paid out with the salary bonus.

To receive this bonus, you must be registered in Arjeplog Municipality during the period of employment. The salary bonus is paid out when employment exceeds 6 months with 7,500 SEK, 12 months with 7,500 SEK, and 18 months with 11,250 SEK. The amounts above correspond to full-time employment.

There is also the possibility to apply for a relocation bonus. Those who have adequate education, get a job in a shortage occupation, and register in Arjeplog can receive a bonus of up to 30,000 SEK after verified receipts.

The bonus is proportional to the employment level.
