Markverkstad Syd (Southern Land Workshop)

The Land Workshops (MvE) are a unit within the Army Staff (AST) that performs maintenance on the Swedish Armed Forces' land equipment and air base equipment, and delivers technical system support. This includes maintenance in the form of inspections, repairs, manufacturing, dismantling/scraping, modifications, operational support, technical adaptation, and equipment surveys. The Land Workshop unit delivers services according to customer requirements.

Main Responsibilities

As a spare parts specialist, you will work with spare parts preparation, ensuring and quality-assuring the basis for spare parts orders, and determining whether spare parts should be procured through internal or external parties. You will initiate, monitor, and close customer orders in our support systems. The work also includes sourcing and ordering equipment, handling goods, general warehouse management, and warehouse care. Daily work involving ordering/issuing spare parts, as well as receiving goods/equipment, ongoing follow-up, and inventory are also included. Being involved in, developing, and driving Mv Revingehed forward is seen as a matter of course.

REQUIREMENTS

Qualifications

• At least a two- or three-year upper secondary education in vehicle technology or other education/competence acquired through professional experience that the employer assesses as equivalent.
• Experience of working in warehousing, logistics, or spare parts management.
• Good knowledge of Swedish and English, both in speech and writing.
• High computer proficiency and good knowledge of the Office package (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Category B driver's license.

Merits

• Swedish Armed Forces training as a spare parts technician or on any vehicle system.
• Forklift license.
• Experience working in the business system SAP - PRIO.
• Previous experience in technical services within the Swedish Armed Forces.

Other

Employment type: Permanent position starting with a 6-month probationary period.

Employment level: Full-time, daytime hours – shift work may apply.

Work location: Markverkstad Syd/Revingehed.

Start date: As soon as possible after agreement.

The work also involves requirements for travel and duty, both domestic and international.
