Ájtte, the Swedish Mountain and Sami Museum, is a specialized museum for the nature and culture of the mountain region, as well as the main museum in Sweden for Sami culture. Ájtte is located in Jokkmokk, an important gateway to the World Heritage Site of Laponia. Job Responsibilities
Do you want to be part of an engaged team where collaboration and helpfulness are an integral part of everyday life? In this role, you are responsible for the daily cleaning of the museum's premises and associated auxiliary spaces, with a focus on creating a pleasant and well-functioning environment for both employees and visitors.
The position is varied and also includes caretaker duties. This may, for example, involve assisting with practical tasks in the building and providing support where needed in daily operations.
Together with the property manager and cleaning colleagues, you work in a close-knit team where everyone helps and supports each other. You play a vital role in ensuring that operations run smoothly every day.
Qualifications
We are looking for someone with experience working as a cleaner (and/or caretaker), or other experience that the employer deems equivalent. Previous work in similar roles is considered an asset. Education in cleaning, caretaking, or property maintenance is a plus.

Knowledge of the museum's area of operation is considered an asset.
Working Hours/Duration
The position is permanent. Immediate start with a 6-month probationary period.
Salary
The museum applies individual salary setting.
The position is located in Jokkmokk at Ájtte. The museum strives for a balanced gender distribution in the organization and welcomes applications from both women and men.
