Welcome to Primary Care at Åsidan Health Centre!

We are currently looking for a Specialty Training (ST) doctor who wishes to specialize in general practice. Åsidan Health Centre is a well-established, region-run clinic with approximately 12,000 registered patients. We are located on the hospital grounds, giving you proximity to most specialties and the opportunity to perform your rotations at Nyköping Hospital.

Geographically, we have an excellent location with close proximity to the city center, train station, the E4 highway, Skavsta Airport, as well as nature and the sea.

About the team and operations

At Åsidan, approximately 50 employees agree that our strength lies in teamwork and good collaboration, with the patient's best interest as the focus. In addition to our 6 ST doctors, specialists, nurses, district nurses, physiotherapists, occupational therapists, counselors, psychologists, psychotherapists, rehab coordinators, assistant nurses, and medical secretaries work here. One or two Assistant Doctors (AT) are also continuously present.

We work in teams to ensure that patients reach the right resource at the right time. The goal for Åsidan is that all patients have a designated, named specialist or ST doctor.

Our responsibilities include primary care on-call duties, special care housing, home healthcare, and Child Health Services (BVC), which functions as a family center. We also have responsibilities during special events.

All of this means that at Åsidan, you will encounter the entire primary care mandate and, during your training, get to see and grow into our operations. Here, you will enjoy varied work where you meet patients of all ages, with different backgrounds and varying needs.

Your responsibilities

• Work in the health centre's acute flow.
• Work on the infectious disease on-call duty.
• Own scheduled clinic with, eventually, your own registered patients.
• Natural collaboration with other professions at the health centre.
• After a period of time, also serve as a supervisor for Assistant Doctors (AT).
• You are part of a doctor group that together develops primary care with a focus on quality, continuity, accessibility, and attractiveness.

Certain on-call and standby duties are included.

Your qualifications

• You are a licensed physician and wish to specialize in general practice.
• You enjoy working independently with varied tasks.
• You have good collaboration skills and flexibility.
• You have experience working at a health centre and are interested in development.
• A B-class driver's license is desirable but not required.

We place great importance on personal qualities.

Employment terms

Permanent employment, full-time or part-time, with start date according to agreement.
