Work with care – Become a personal assistant in Oxie

We are now looking for you who want to step in during planned and acute absences of regular staff for a man in Oxie.

Do you want to work for a man who loves activities, card games, and sports? The client is very active, trains frequently, and competes often. He has a strong interest in football and often attends matches. The client and the assistant travel to activities using specialized transport (färdtjänst).

Our client needs assistance after a stroke. He uses a wheelchair but can walk with a three-point support at home. He has epilepsy, which sometimes manifests in silent seizures, requiring you to be very attentive and present.

There is a lot of humor and warmth in this assignment, but challenges may also arise due to the client's brain injury. It is therefore very important that you perform all tasks according to routines and that you are responsive to the client's needs and wishes.

Working Hours

• 09:00–21:00
• 21:00–09:00 with awake night shifts
• Working hours are scheduled throughout all days of the week

Your Profile

To feel secure in the role, we would like you to:

• Have experience working with people who have epilepsy.
• Have experience working with people who have had a stroke.
• Be able to work with a low-affective approach.

Other Requirements

• You are responsive, attentive, and present in your role as an assistant.
• You can follow routines and instructions carefully.
