About Us

We at Arena för Utveckling have extensive experience in operating daily activities within the framework of LSS (Support and Service Act for Persons with Certain Functional Impairments) and are currently located in several places around Stockholm and its surroundings. We meet daily with individuals with various congenital functional variations or individuals who have acquired a brain injury in adulthood. Together, we create joy, secure relationships, engagement, and opportunities. We truly care, learn together, and meet every person here and now. Our work is driven by the vision of creating opportunities for all the people we meet to develop beyond today's limits, and together we are building an Arena for Development where You are Truly Important!

About the Position

Being a coach at Arena för Utveckling means creating a daily activity that is meaningful, developmental, secure, and goal-oriented, based on the participants' individual prerequisites, dreams, needs, and wishes. Some of the most important tasks in the role of coach are:

• Create secure and trusting relationships.
• Lead and facilitate various activities together with our participants.
• Collaborate with networks.
• Manage social documentation.

As a coach at Arena för Utveckling, you also share our fundamental values regarding views on humanity, morality, and ethics. We are here for our participants, not the other way around. Employees and participants have different roles, but the same value – Value 1!

We are looking for you

• Who is educated as a social worker, occupational therapist, physiotherapist, or behavioral scientist.
• Who enjoys and has experience working with people. Up to 5 years of experience working in various operations within the LSS framework is meritorious.
• Above all, we are looking for you who are good at and enjoy creating meetings with other people, share our value base, and want to create opportunities for all the people we meet to develop.

It is in the meeting between you and the participant that opportunities are created and development can take place. Therefore, we place great emphasis on your personal competencies. Being secure in oneself, relationship-building, collaborative and solution-oriented, structured, and responsible are important personal tools to use in our work.
