Elos Medtech Skara is growing and is now looking for an engaged and skilled machine setter for our injection molding department. About the role

As a setter, you play a central role in our daily production flow. Your main responsibility is to ensure that our injection molding machines and associated peripheral equipment run stably, safely, and with optimal cycle times.

Your main tasks:

• Perform efficient and safe tool changes on injection molding machines.
• Set up, optimize, and fine-tune process parameters for new starts and ongoing production.
• Troubleshoot operational disruptions and quality deviations.
• Program and manage peripheral equipment as well as robots/automation systems.
• Participate in preventive maintenance of machines and mold tools.
• Document process settings and contribute to our continuous improvement work.

Who are you?

We are looking for someone with a genuine technical interest who thrives in a role requiring both logical thinking and practical problem-solving skills. You are meticulous, quality-conscious, and remain calm when machines require quick troubleshooting.

Desirable qualifications:

• Experience working as a setter in injection molding (or equivalent plastic production).
• Good understanding of plastic material properties and process influence.

Advantageous qualifications:

• Experience with specific machine brands (e.g., Engel, Arburg).
• Training in injection molding technology.
• Overhead crane license, forklift license, or hot work certification.

Requirements:

• Good proficiency in Swedish, both spoken and written, to handle documentation and instructions.
