Do you want to take a holistic approach to production planning in a high-tech, international environment – where structures are missing and your contribution truly makes a difference? Then this might be the role for you. Our partner is facing a crucial phase where they need to establish and structure their production planning. Today, there is strong competence in detailed planning, but no unified overview. This is where you come in!

This is not a traditional production planner role. This is a new position where you will have significant responsibility for setting up and launching processes to drive production planning forward. The company you will be joining is high-tech and international, with several key internal stakeholders. You will navigate between R&D, Configuration Management, production engineering, logistics, purchasing, as well as project and export planning. This means you do not just plan – you understand the big picture, question, improve, and drive change. In this role, you will build something from the ground up – not just manage. You will have a major influence on how the company moves forward and the opportunity to grow into a strategic key role.

Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

• Building and structuring the entire production planning process from scratch
• Identifying gaps, inefficiencies, and hidden problems in current working methods
• Driving improvement initiatives and acting as a project manager within the area
• Creating a scalable and long-term planning structure
• Acting as the “hub” connecting various functions

• Has a Master’s degree in Industrial Engineering or Economics, preferably with a focus on product and process development
• Has at least three years of experience from production, planning, logistics, or similar fields
• Fluently speaks and writes Swedish and English, as both languages are used in daily work

You do not need to have worked specifically with production planning for many years – it is more important that you can build, understand, and improve.

This is a consultancy assignment, meaning you will initially be employed by Friday. The ambition from both the client and our side is that you will eventually become a direct employee of the client.
