Your role

The position is 50 percent. You will teach and guide our students in mathematics in both compulsory school and upper secondary school courses, and together with other colleagues, you will be part of a work team. We see you as an important and driving force to develop both the programs and the subject, with the students in focus and in cooperation with colleagues. In addition to subject-specific tasks, you, like the other teachers at the school, have duties such as mentor, and together you and your colleagues coach the students both socially and academically through their three years at Practical Gymnasiet. We communicate primarily through Schoolsoft, and we work in a Google environment by sharing digital documents, calendars, and plans. This applies equally to students and colleagues.

Your profile

We are primarily looking for you who are a certified upper secondary school teacher in mathematics, but if you have experience or are undergoing training to become an upper secondary school teacher, your application is also welcome. We place great emphasis on personal qualities and value your ability to meet students based on their knowledge and needs. Your AMBITION is to reach every student with your pedagogy, having high expectations of yourself. With the help of your STRENGTH, you stand up for values such as sustainability, diversity, and equality, and you inspire your students with them. Through your PASSION, you inspire and engage every student to develop as far as possible based on their own prerequisites. Our students are eager to enter working life, and your biggest task is to lead them there!
