Then the position of Laboratory Technician on the Metals Department might be just what you are looking for!

About the role

At SGS, we analyze environmental samples to protect public health. We determine if there are heavy metals in drinking water, cyanide in the soil, or dioxins in pike.

The Metals Department consists of twelve laboratory technicians with diverse backgrounds. We work closely together on the department's various tasks and help each other where needed; "the team before the individual" is the motto we work by. We analyze solid materials and water samples, primarily using ICP-MS and ICP-OES. We have a cleanroom facility where we process and analyze the lowest concentrations of metals. This is a permanent full-time position during daytime hours, Monday to Friday. Weekend work may occur when needed.

Requirements

• Good proficiency in Swedish, both spoken and written, as our safety regulations are written in Swedish.
• Science-based upper secondary education or equivalent experience
• Proficiency in Office software and IT
