Your Responsibilities
In this role, you will be responsible for parts of Siemens Energy's supplier base, where you will work on selecting, developing, and managing suppliers while ensuring long-term and commercial partnerships. You will drive procurement-related issues both strategically and operationally, playing a key role in contributing to efficient processes and sustainable business solutions.
You will work closely with both internal and global procurement teams and participate in developing and implementing procurement strategies tailored to the business's needs. The role also involves significant responsibility in negotiations, supplier dialogues, and development initiatives within the procurement area.
Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Develop and drive procurement strategies for commodities and specific suppliers within your supplier base.
- Collaborate with global procurement teams to contribute to and implement global strategies where relevant.
- Negotiate contracts, price lists, and larger purchase orders (POs).
- Handle supplier-related escalations and support tactical and operational procurement in various situations.
- Drive and participate in cross-functional development projects to streamline procurement processes and working methods.
- Build and develop long-term relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
Your Profile
We are looking for you who have a university education in engineering, economics, or equivalent work experience. You are analytical and thrive in data-driven work, feeling comfortable handling and analyzing information in tools such as Excel.
You have a commercial mindset and a good ability to see the big picture while working in a structured and results-oriented manner. Furthermore, you are someone who enjoys collaborating with others and has an easy time building relationships and working across functional boundaries within the organization.
To succeed in the role, we see that you are driven, solution-oriented, and have a high service level in your work. You communicate fluently in both Swedish and English, both verbally and in writing, and have a good technical understanding.
It is an advantage if you have previous experience in procurement or commercial work, as well as knowledge or understanding of the welding field.
We place great importance on your personal qualities and are looking for you with high social competence, a strong customer focus, and a professional attitude in contact with both internal and external partners.
