The Swedish Product Office for Large Caliber Systems (LCS) is now looking for you, who has a burning interest in product development and wants to make an impact on the development of future ammunition in an expanding business that contributes to national security.

About the role

As a Project Manager at our Product Office, you will become part of a growing group consisting of approximately 15 engaged individuals working closely together. The role also involves close local collaboration with production technology, production, purchasing, quality, and finance, as well as with the development unit at the headquarters in Norway.

The Project Manager is responsible for planning, leading, and following up on development projects from all aspects, including time, scope, progress, resources, quality, benefit, and risk. Financial responsibility for the project budget is also included in the role. You report to the project owner/steering group and are subordinate to the Manager Product Office LCS Sweden. Location: Lindesberg.

Examples of responsibilities:

• Approve and coordinate internal and external activities
• Ensure required documentation
• Ensure configuration control in the project
• Contribute to the development and follow-up of subcontractors
• Risk management and initiatives for corrective actions
• Contribute to the development of the Product Office and participate in improvement work

Our candidate

We are looking for you who have a relevant university degree (civil engineer or university degree in engineering) with a few years of experience leading development projects, alternatively production or delivery projects. You are a proficient user of project management tools such as Jira or similar. Your knowledge of both Swedish and English is good in speech and writing.

You are a confident and collaborative project manager who leads project participants through all phases of the project through inspiration and motivation. Your ability to balance clarity and demandingness with diplomacy and sensitivity is well developed. You have high energy and are driven by creating progress and completing successful projects. Your working style is characterized by precision and structure.
