What is it like to work with us?

Here is how the nurse Alice describes her work at the cardiac and medical department:

"Working at the cardiac and medical department is educational and interesting because one day is not like the other. We care for patients who are not only heart patients but have many different diagnoses, which gives you a broad competence regarding different disease conditions. We work in a team, which suits me as I am relatively new to the profession, as I always have people around me to ask, get help and support from."

Your Responsibilities

At the cardiac and medical department, we provide 24/7 care for patients with medical conditions. Our specialty is patients with various heart diseases where we have the opportunity for telemetry monitoring. With us, you get a broad foundation to stand on in your practice as a nurse. Your Competence

We are looking for you who are a registered nurse. If you have experience working in inpatient care, we see it as meritorious but it is not a requirement.

To thrive with us, you prefer a varied work pace where no work shift is like the other. You are secure, stable, adapt easily to different situations, and have good cooperation skills. You plan, organize, and prioritize your workday for the benefit of the patients.

You have good empathy, are meticulous, and care about working with quality in a goal-oriented manner. You enjoy being part of a cross-professional team with the patients in focus, where all professional groups learn from each other. You are curious, take initiative, and want to be part of developing the operations.

As a new nurse at the cardiac and medical department, you are offered individual induction, whether you are new to the profession or have worked for a few years. As you work in constant dialogue with patients and colleagues, it is a requirement that you have good knowledge of the Swedish language, both in speech and writing.
