The Management Office of Region Uppsala is part of Region Uppsala, one of the largest employers in Uppsala County. The Management Office is led by the Regional Director and consists of approximately one thousand employees. With a governing, supportive, and coordinating role, the Management Office is tasked with supporting the political leadership and administrations to ensure that political guidelines are implemented across the region's various operations. Our Operations

The HR Department within Region Uppsala is led by the HR Director and consists of a total of approximately 125 employees. The department is organized into functional areas: Working Environment and Health, Law and Agreements, Competence and Leadership, and Operational Support.

The HR Unit at Akademiska Sjukhuset is now seeking an experienced HR Partner to complement our team. Akademiska Sjukhuset is one of Sweden's leading university hospitals, where approximately 9,000 people work. In addition to its role as a county hospital, Akademiska Sjukhuset provides highly specialized care and serves two million people in central Sweden.

Your Role

Together with other HR Partners and HR Administrators, you will be part of the team providing operationally close HR support to the managers at Akademiska Sjukhuset. Our more than 20 HR Partners are responsible for one or several operational areas and are tasked with supporting the management with competence supply, personnel matters, labor law issues, rehabilitation, wage formation, collaboration, and systematic work environment work.

The primary focus of the position is to be available for our managers in operations. To provide the best possible support, you work closely with the entire HR team at Akademiska, where collaboration and shared commitment are a natural part of our way of working. A natural part of the role is to participate in the HR Unit's internal development work to continuously develop our processes and improve support to operations.

Your Qualifications

  • A university or college degree with a social science orientation; preferably in personnel science or another education that the employer deems equivalent or relevant for the position.
  • At least five years of experience in qualified HR work, either as an HR Partner/similar position or as a manager with personnel responsibility.
  • Good written and verbal skills.

Experience of HR work within the healthcare sector is meritorious. So is understanding and previous experience of working in a complex and/or politically governed organization.
