Job Responsibilities

We are now launching an entirely new team in Nyköping Municipality's home care service, the Resource Staffing Team. We need to recruit 12 assistant nurses with driver's licenses for our new team.

As an assistant nurse in our team, you will support users in their daily lives with personal hygiene, meals, medication, walks, social interaction, household chores, and more. The team will be responsible for performing these tasks in all of the municipality's home care groups during the absence of regular staff. Therefore, during a work shift, you may work in one or several groups.

The work requires a pedagogical, motivating, and health-promoting approach, as well as great respect for the individual's self-determination and integrity. As an assistant nurse in the Resource Staffing Team, you need to be flexible and compliant with implementation plans and prescriptions. You must have good skills in reading and writing documentation according to the Social Services Act (SoL) and the Health and Medical Services Act (HSL) in our operational systems.

Working hours are scheduled between 07:00-22:00 and every other weekend.

Qualifications

For the position, you must:

  • Be trained as an assistant nurse
  • Have a driver's license (automatic/manual)
  • Be able to cycle
  • Have good knowledge of Swedish, both orally and in writing
  • Be empathetic and confident, with the ability to build trust and relationships
  • Be able to work independently and in a team
  • Be flexible and thrive with varied tasks

It is an advantage if you:

  • Have at least two years of experience working as an assistant nurse
  • Have a specialist assistant nurse education

We conduct interviews continuously during the application period.

Probationary employment may occur. As part of the recruitment process, candidates who move forward will undergo digital language tests. The purpose is to ensure that the applicant has the language skills required for the position. Before employment, extracts from the criminal record and suspicion registers must be presented.

Salary: Monthly salary.
