Service Mechanic for Scanmaskin

About the Role

We are currently seeking a motivated and meticulous service mechanic for our service workshop.

In this role, you will primarily work with the service, troubleshooting, and repair of Scanmaskin's own machines returned from customers. You will be responsible for ensuring that the machines meet the required quality standards before they are put back into use.

When the workload in the service workshop is lower, you will also support production by assembling our machines together with the assembly team. Therefore, the role is varied and suits you if you enjoy both service work and assembly in a workshop environment.

You will exclusively work with Scanmaskin's own product range.

About You

You have a strong technical interest and experience in practical work, preferably as a service mechanic, precision mechanic, or within small machine service.

We place great importance on your personal qualities. To succeed in the role, you are responsible, solution-oriented, and meticulous. You thrive working both independently and in a team, and you have a positive attitude towards both work and colleagues.

We are looking for someone who has

• High school education with a technical focus
• 5 years of experience troubleshooting industrial machines
• Experience in mechanical work, service, or workshop operations
• Good knowledge of Swedish, spoken and written
• Good knowledge of technical English (to read manuals and instructions)

Merits:

• Experience in troubleshooting and repairing machines
• Knowledge of electrical systems
• Forklift license
• Category B driver's license
• German language skills

Other Information

The position starts as a staffing assignment where you will be employed by Barona and hired out to Scanmaskin, with a good opportunity to transition into direct employment with the customer after 6 months.
