Work with Care – Become a Personal Assistant Outside Rydsgård

We are currently looking for hourly employees and summer substitutes for our client outside of Rydsgård.

Do you have a good sense of humor and enjoy working both in a team and independently? We are now seeking an assistant for one of our clients outside of Rydsgård. Our client has acquired brain damage following a stroke and uses a wheelchair. The client has a strong interest in music and sports. Music is often played in the home, and the client appreciates it when assistants sing. With double staffing, there is room for outings, activities, and training to maintain and strengthen mental and physical functions. You will be part of a large, friendly work group where everyone values a good atmosphere and collaboration. Personal chemistry and well-being are important to us.

Mobility is done using a wheelchair and lifting equipment. Medication is managed by everyone in the team. It is a requirement that you can work with a low-affective approach, and we provide you with tools and support to work adapted to the client's individual needs. Previous experience with epilepsy is desirable. You will receive training and an introduction on-site in the home so that you are confident in your role as an assistant before starting your shifts.

A driver's license is a requirement. The client has their own car, which you, as an assistant, will drive during working hours. The workplace is not connected to public transport, so access to your own car is required.

Shopping and household chores are included in the job.

A cat lives in the home.

Working Hours

• Working hours are scheduled throughout all hours of the day, with morning, evening, and night shifts.

Your Profile

To feel secure in the role, we see that you preferably:

• Can work with a low-affective approach.
• Have previous experience in healthcare.
• Hold a driver's license.

Other

• Experience with lifting and moving is desirable.
• Experience with epilepsy is desirable.
