We are looking for a Senior Strategic Buyer for Siemens Energy in Finspång. In this role, you will be responsible for developing the supplier base, driving purchasing strategies, and negotiating contracts in a global and technically advanced environment. Here you will have a key role with a strong business focus and close collaboration across several functions.

To Siemens Energy in Finspång, we are now looking for a Senior Strategic Buyer for an exciting consultancy assignment in a global and high-tech environment.

In the role, you are responsible for parts of the supplier base where you work with selecting, developing, and managing suppliers. You drive purchasing strategies, negotiate contracts and prices, and collaborate closely with both operational and tactical purchasing.

• Develop and drive purchasing strategies for specific categories and suppliers
• Negotiate contracts and major purchases
• Collaborate with global purchasing teams and contribute to joint strategies
• Handle escalations and support operational purchasing
• Drive improvement and development projects cross-functionally

• Have a university education in engineering or economics, or equivalent experience
• Have a strong business sense and a holistic perspective
• Are analytical and confident working with data, for example in Excel
• Have good collaboration skills and thrive in an international environment
• Work result-oriented with a high sense of service and self-drive
• Have good technical understanding
• Master Swedish and English well in speech and writing
• Have the possibility to travel when needed

• Experience in strategic purchasing or commercial work
• Knowledge or experience in welding
