Job Description

Are you ready for meaningful and varied work? We are now looking for a District Nurse or Registered Nurse for the municipal home care service. With us, you will have an exciting and developing job where you contribute to providing our patients with secure and person-centered care. This is a rotational position involving days, evenings, nights, and weekend work every third weekend. You will visit patients in their homes, as well as in care and nursing homes, and also patients within the LSS (Support and Service for Persons with Certain Disabilities) sector.

Responsibilities

You are responsible for the nursing care of patients within municipal health and medical care. Your work includes:

• Independent medical assessments and treatments.
• Planning, execution, and follow-up of nursing interventions.
• Supervision and guidance of care staff in health and medical care matters.
• Close collaboration with the unit manager, social worker, occupational therapist, and care staff to work together for the patient's best interest.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse, preferably with further education as a District Nurse.
• Good teamwork skills and ability to work independently.
• Structured, flexible, and meticulous, with a holistic perspective on tasks.
• Ability to communicate well in both speech and writing.
• Good knowledge of legislation regulating the work of nurses.
• Valid driver's license (Category B).

Conditions
