Do you want to work close to production and contribute technical expertise in complex Life Science environments? AFRY is now looking for a Process Engineer who wants to develop as a consultant among leading players in the pharmaceutical industry.

About the role

As a Process Engineer, you work as a consultant within AFRY Food & Pharma – Life Science. You operate close to the production at the client's site in the Mälardalen region and serve as a support in daily operations. The role involves coordinating responsibilities where you handle deviations, lead minor improvement and change initiatives, and work on validation of equipment and production environments. The work takes place primarily on-site at the client's location and combines administrative tasks with cross-functional collaboration. You will receive a structured introduction both internally at AFRY and together with the client.

We are looking for you with

Requirements

• Engineering degree in biotechnology, chemical engineering, mechanical engineering, or technical physics
• At least 1 year of work experience from production-oriented work in the pharmaceutical or food industry
• Good ability to work in Swedish and English, both verbally and in writing
• Ability to work on-site at the client's location

Meritorious

• Studies/experience in cybersecurity

As a person, you are curious, solution-oriented, and self-reliant, with the ability to absorb a lot of information and translate it into practical work. You function as a consultant, handle different social contexts in a professional manner, and are not afraid to ask questions or seek help when needed.
