The Individual and Family Care department is part of the Social and Education Administration in Ludvika Municipality. We have approximately 120 employees and are organized into five units: The Investigation Unit, The Support and Social Security Unit, The Foster Care and Family Law Unit, The Open Care Unit, and the Employment and Integration Unit. Within the Support and Social Security Unit, 22 dedicated and skilled employees work with financial assistance, violence in close relationships, honor-related violence and oppression, housing social contracts, mediation of own funds, social practice, handling of estate notifications, and shortly also harmful use/addiction.

RESPONSIBILITIES

We are looking for you who want to influence, change, and drive development processes within the Support and Social Security Unit.

The assignment includes leading and distributing work, method guidance, follow-up of goals and outcomes for the operations, and participation in the formulation of routines, guidelines, and other governing documents. It is also part of the assignment to ensure that social secretaries work in accordance with current legislation, that all documentation is of high quality, and that we have a good attitude towards those we meet.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for you with a degree in social work and many years of experience working primarily with financial assistance and harmful use/addiction. To handle the work, you need to have substantial experience within the social services' authority exercise and be very familiar with the application of laws, regulations, and ordinances applicable to us. It is an advantage if you have experience from the unit's other areas of work as well as previous experience in line management.

The work is characterized by change, so it is important that you possess flexibility that allows you to easily relate to changed circumstances and adapt your working method to the needs and goals of the operations. Your assignment includes collaborating with other units but also with other actors where you represent the operations, which is why good cooperation skills are required. You can effectively identify and analyze the core of a problem and suggest possible solutions. It is of great importance that you have a holistic view and can understand the operations from different levels and perspectives. You should be structured and clear in your working method.

We want you to be well-articulated in both speech and writing in the Swedish language and have good computer skills. In this recruitment, great emphasis will be placed on your personal qualities.

A driver's license is required.
