About the Assignment

As a summer substitute within the Construction Training at KVA, you are responsible for conducting education in a operation with clear frameworks, high demands on structure, and a professional approach. As a substitute, you will receive support in planning and implementation during the weeks you are present and working, but you will work independently on-site.

The education is conducted on behalf of the Swedish Public Employment Service and aims to provide participants with basic vocational knowledge, work-life preparation, and understanding of responsibility, order, and safety within the construction industry. The education should be conducted in line with Astar's pedagogical model and current safety requirements.

The assignment includes:

• conducting teacher-led and structured education within construction
• following given plans, routines, and frameworks for the education
• contributing to order, study environment, and a respectful climate
• working with clarity regarding responsibility, instructions, and safety

We are looking for you who

• have professional experience in construction and a good understanding of the industry's requirements
• are confident in leading adult participants in practical exercises
• work in a structured and consistent manner, even in a time-limited assignment
• can function as a clear and professional role model

It is an advantage if you have:

• experience of education, guidance, or work with adults
• experience of environments where safety, routines, and clear regulations are central

Requirements related to the Prison and Probation Service

Since the position is conducted within the Prison and Probation Service's educational activity (KVA), it is a prerequisite that you meet the Prison and Probation Service's requirements for employment. This means that you need to undergo and be approved in the security checks and controls that the Prison and Probation Service applies.

Employment can only take place on the condition that these requirements are met.
