About the position

Vår Omtanke is seeking, on behalf of our client, a female, calm personal assistant with a sense of humor and a positive attitude, working daytime hours Monday–Friday.

Our client has a neurological condition that affects balance, fine motor skills, and voice. Communication takes place via a Lightwriter, which requires fluent Swedish in both speech and writing. The client lives in a detached house with her husband, two children, and a dog in Järfälla.

As a Personal Assistant, you will assist with practical daily tasks such as household chores, dressing and undressing, hygiene, and mobility. You will also assist with phone calls, doctor's visits, physiotherapy, and walks.

We are looking for someone with a calm personality who can take initiative. You are sensitive, meticulous, and present, but also know when to step back and be nearby. Experience in personal assistance, care, or social services is meritorious. Knowledge of PLS (Personal Life Support) is an additional advantage.

Who are you?

You are an honest and reliable person who genuinely enjoys working with people. You have the ability to create a harmonious atmosphere around you. You should have great empathy, patience, and the ability to put yourself in another person's situation and be very sensitive. We are looking for someone with experience working as a personal assistant or other equivalent experience. As a person, you have good social skills, consider the client's overall needs, are meticulous, responsible, and have a welcoming attitude. Only female applicants, as per the client's request.

Requirements: Fluent Swedish, non-smoker, not afraid of dogs and no dog allergies.

Working hours and degree of employment:

Day shifts 2 times per week, fixed schedule.

Salary: Fixed hourly wage according to agreement, other compensations according to collective agreement.
