Do you want to help develop the school of the future in Bollnäs? Granbergsskolan is now seeking an engaged special needs teacher who wants to contribute to our students' development and learning, and be part of the ongoing development work within the municipality's primary schools.

The position is a permanent full-time employment with a start date of 2026-08-12.

Job Responsibilities

As a special needs teacher with us, you have an important role in creating good conditions for students' development and learning. To thrive in this role, you need to have a clear and inclusive perspective on how students in need of special support can be given the opportunity to reach their full potential. You will become a central part of the school's development work and systematic quality work together with school management, student health services, and educators.

In this role, you work preventively and goal-oriented together with the teaching team to develop teaching and learning environments based on the school's steering documents.

The work includes, among other things:

• Mapping the learning situations of students, groups, and the organization
• Planning and implementing intensive support measures in mathematics
• Guiding and supporting teachers in working with extra adaptations and special support
• Observing students and groups to identify and remove obstacles in the learning environment
• Contributing to the development of the school's work regarding support measures and accessible learning environments
• Collaborating with the school's student health services and other professions regarding students' development and learning

As a special needs teacher with us, you are an important link between the student, educators, and student health services. Through your engagement and competence, you contribute to creating an accessible, secure, and developmental school environment where every student is given the opportunity to succeed.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who are educated as a special needs teacher with a teaching license for work within primary school. It is meritorious if you have experience working with students in need of special support, as well as experience with mapping, guidance, and adaptations in learning environments. We would like you to have good knowledge of steering documents and experience working with documentation and follow-up.

Furthermore, we see that you are secure, engaged, and have an inclusive approach. You have a good ability to build relationships and collaborate with students, guardians, and colleagues.
