Bergeforsen School is a grades F-6 school located 15 minutes from central Sundsvall and right next to the E4 highway. The school has a clear structure, engaged staff, and a strong focus on security, study environment, and accessible education. With us, students are met by adults who care, collaborate, and take joint responsibility for each student's development and well-being. Bergeforsen School is a Grades F-6 Regular and Special Needs School – where everyone can thrive, develop, and feel joy in work. Here, preschool class, regular school, special needs school, and after-school center collaborate. Currently, there are approximately 200 students at the school. The many different activities are well integrated so that all children and adults feel a sense of belonging and community.

In the special needs school, you work with students who have intellectual disabilities and may also have diagnoses such as autism, ADHD, ADD, speech disorders, and physical disabilities. Students study either subjects or subject areas depending on their need for support. We offer education adapted to each student's needs, focusing on clarifying pedagogy, visual support, and Sign Language as an Alternative and Augmentative Communication (TAKK). We value structured leadership that creates a secure environment for students' learning. Our goal is for all students to leave school with good knowledge, strong self-esteem, and the ability to choose their best path in life. Do you want to help develop our fantastic operations? We are now looking for 4 leisure-time teachers for our special needs school operations.

Your role as a leisure-time teacher

As a leisure-time teacher in the special needs school, you work to create a secure, meaningful, and pedagogical after-school program for students with intellectual disabilities. You support the students' social development, leisure time, and learning, often in close collaboration with teachers and student assistants in small groups.

You are part of the work teams around the students at our special needs school and collaborate with special education teachers and student assistants to create a holistic approach to the student's day. You play a key role in creating a structured and adapted environment that promotes security and learning. You have an important role in jointly developing the content of the after-school center to suit the students' needs, often focusing on aesthetic activities, movement, and social training.

• Present a valid ID document
• If necessary, prove education with grades or diploma
• Be able to show that you have the right to work in Sweden through a valid work permit
• If necessary, present a valid driver's license
