The Role of School Nurse with Us

As a school nurse at Järvsögymnasiet, you are a key player in our student health team. You work closely with the principal, teachers, mentors, and the rest of the student health team. Since we are a niche upper secondary school with specializations in adventure, animal care, business development, and technology, the role offers an stimulating variety where you meet young people in an active and creative environment.

Your responsibilities include:

• Health conversations and health checks.
• Preventive and health-promoting work, both through individual meetings and health information in, for example, lesson format.
• Active participation in the school's student health team (EHT) to support students' development towards their goals.
• Collaboration with, among others, social services, youth clinics, and guardians.

Who are you?

We are looking for you who thrive in close collaboration with colleagues and who want to contribute to collegial learning. You are confident in your profession and value direct and clear communication.

Qualifications:

• Licensed nurse with specialist education in child and youth health, as a district nurse or through the school nurse program.
