About the position

You will be part of a business management group that supports the foremen within VA Delivery Production. They are responsible for repairing leaks in the water and sewage pipe network in Stockholm and Huddinge, from emergency interventions to larger planned works. As a Construction Coordinator, you will play a central role in relieving their foremen by handling administrative work and ensuring quality and follow-up in their VA ground works. The role involves a lot of collaboration with both internal and external parties.

This is a full-time position where you will substitute for an employee on parental leave, with an immediate start and until the turn of the year 2026, with some possibility of extension. You will be employed by Academic Work and work on assignment for Stockholm Vatten och Avfall.

Tasks

The role involves supporting foremen with planning, follow-up, and documentation of VA-related ground works, from initial orders to completion and reporting.

• Conduct self-control of VA ground works.
• Have dialogue with framework agreement contractors regarding execution and review.
• Document executed ground restoration work, including asphalt.
• Support foremen in drawing TA plans when needed.
• Follow up on deviations and measures with contractors.
• Report documented work in internal systems and to the municipality.
• Field visits approx. 1-2 times a week to inspect executed works and gain a good understanding of the operations.

We are looking for you who

• Have experience within VA, construction, or civil engineering, with experience from both office and field.
• Have knowledge about asphalt and ground restoration.
• Communicate fluently in Swedish, both verbally and in writing, as daily documentation and communication take place in Swedish.
• Have a B driver's license (company car available).
• Have good knowledge of Microsoft Excel and the ability to quickly learn new computer systems.

It is meritorious if you have

• Experience in drawing or reviewing TA plans.
• Relevant work experience in the industry for at least two years.
