We believe in movement. We believe it works wonders for the body, heart, and brain, and that the increased quality of life and better mood allow us to face the day — and each other — in a better way. The training we do within our walls prepares us better for life outside. Challenges, setbacks, and all the other things that come with being human become a little easier to bear when the body is strong and gets to move. Right now, perhaps more than ever, society needs to be filled with people who feel good. And for the ripples to spread further, we must lower the barriers and make training accessible. It’s that simple.
This is where STC comes in. Together, we will advance public health, one step and one push-up at a time, leading more people to a place where they can become a better version of themselves.
We are now looking for you who want to be part of this as our new Project Manager for Marketing & Events, responsible for taking STC’s external presence to the next level. You will be part of the marketing team and report to the Marketing Manager, based at our support office in Kungälv.
What you will build here
As Project Manager Marketing & Events, you own three key assignments: running events and external events, activations of sponsorship agreements, and marketing work around the opening of new gyms. This is a role with clear boundaries but broad scope for action, where you are expected to take initiative and continuously develop how we work within your areas.
On the event front, you project manage STC’s presence at running events and other major arrangements such as the Gothenburg Half Marathon and Vårruset, from early planning and partner dialogues to being on-site and representing the brand. You ensure that the activations included in STC’s sponsorship agreements are actually delivered and that every collaboration is fully utilized. In ongoing partner dialogues and contract negotiations, you drive STC’s interests in close collaboration with the Marketing Manager.
Regarding the opening of new gyms, you take central marketing responsibility. This means everything from campaign planning and visibility to opening events and administrative tasks, such as setting up the gym page on stc.se. What actually happens on the day a new gym opens is largely your responsibility, and you work closely with regional managers and local gyms to ensure the delivery maintains high quality across the country. The role therefore requires some travel and working hours outside of regular office hours. You will also become part of a flat-hierarchy team where we help each other with tasks even outside our main responsibilities, doing what is needed to inspire and get more people moving.
Your experience and who you are
We are looking for someone who thrives when no two days are alike and who draws energy from being the person who holds complex projects together at a high pace. You are accustomed to representing a brand externally and do so with confidence and natural presence, whether in a negotiation with a partner or in front of an audience at an event.
You are structured enough to keep track of budgets and follow-ups, but flexible enough to adapt quickly when conditions change. It is a big plus if you have a personal interest in training or running. You have an open approach to how AI changes your work and use tools like ChatGPT, Claude, or Copilot as a natural part of your daily routine.
Experience we value:
- Several years of experience in project managing events, preferably with elements of sponsorship activation
- Accustomed to driving parallel streams and delivering at a high pace with clear follow-up against goals and budget
- Experience in external representation and partner dialogue, preferably including negotiation situations
- Experience in marketing work related to event communication or brand building in an external context
Our promise to you
Imagine it has been a year. Something you helped build is now used by thousands of colleagues in the business every day, without them even thinking about it — which is exactly how it should be. You have left your mark on something bigger than yourself, in a company that has moved forward during that time. You know what you contribute — because you can point to it.
This is not for everyone. It requires that you genuinely care, take responsibility for your part, and thrive when a lot is happening around you. But for you who recognize yourself in this and want to be in a place where what you do is actually visible, where there is always a next thing if you want it, and where colleagues step up without you having to ask — it is hard to find anywhere else.
We offer:
- Gym membership with access to all STC gyms across Sweden, including group training
- Hybrid work model, 4 days in the office and 1 day remote
- Joint training sessions with colleagues
- Discounts via partners and sister companies
- Collective agreement
Our recruitment process
As part of our work for a fairer and competence-based recruitment process, we have chosen to collaborate with Hubert.ai. After you submit your application, you will be directly invited to a chat-based first interview with our virtual recruitment assistant, Hubert. The purpose of this interview is to make the selection process faster and more accurate – it does not replace the human interview, but serves as a first step that helps us create better conditions for a more in-depth conversation later in the process. The interview normally takes about 15–20 minutes to complete, and we hope you do it as soon as you have the opportunity. Tips for the interview? Take a look at this article: https://www.hubert.ai/insights/tips-och-rad-infor-din-forsta-hubert-intervju (https://www.hubert.ai/insights/tips-och-rad-infor-din-forsta-hubert-intervju)
