We are currently looking for a Production Technician for a long-term consulting assignment at BAE Systems Bofors in Karlskoga. In this role, you will work on developing and improving assembly processes in a modern production environment. The position requires both analytical skills and a strong commitment to production and technology.

Your Future Challenge

You will work on the development and efficiency improvement of production and assembly processes in close collaboration with production, design, and development. The role involves varied tasks where you drive improvements ranging from production flows and layouts to technical documentation, assembly instructions, and analyses of production working methods.

The work includes industrialization and method development, where you contribute to optimizing existing processes and creating more efficient and sustainable production flows.

You will be a key part of cross-functional collaborations with many contact points, where you, together with other functions, develop and refine working methods and solutions in production.

Are You the One We Are Looking For?

We see that you, as a candidate, have:

• A good understanding of production flows, industrialization, and method development.
• Experience in creating assembly instructions and working with technical documentation and drawing reviews.
• Experience in analyzing cycle times, assembly times, and resource requirements.
• Experience with CAD as well as ERP/MPS systems.
• Knowledge of fixtures, tools, and production equipment.
• Experience in improvement and change work in cross-functional teams.
• An interest in digitalization and the development of modern production processes.
• Good collaboration skills and the ability to drive technical improvements in close cooperation with other functions.
