What does the job as a residential support worker at Frösunda involve?
As a residential support worker, you work at one of our residences to support, motivate, and stimulate the individual's own ability to perform activities in daily life. You work to provide each customer with individually adapted support that helps them create structure, routines, and planning in their daily lives.
Residential support is granted to people with various types of disabilities; therefore, the individuals' skills, needs, and development drive our efforts. The goal is to create conditions for an active and meaningful life in a safe and pleasant environment.
The duties of a residential support worker include documentation, drawing up implementation plans, and acting as a contact person.
Examples of tasks:
- Daily chores such as cleaning, shopping, cooking, making beds
- Documentation and reporting
- Excursions, walks, exercise, and activities
- Personal care such as hygiene, showering, toilet visits, support, social presence
- Support and motivate the customer for increased independence in their daily life
Working hours are scheduled according to the customers' needs and vary between day, evening, and night shifts, both on weekdays and weekends.
Nevisborg 11, Service Residence
The lovely service residence Nevisborg 11 is located in a larger residential area in southeastern Staffanstorp, within walking distance to the city center. Just 5–10 minutes from the residence, there is access to bus traffic as well as LIDL, City Gross, and other stores and shops offering almost everything. The service residence is located in a three-story building and consists of a total of 11 service apartments. On the first floor, there is an apartment with communal areas where residents can relax, have coffee and socialize, play games, do crafts, or watch movies. The residents are independent in many tasks but need support in other daily moments.
Nevisborg 19, Group Residence
Nevisborg 19 – a modern group residence in southeastern Staffanstorp with five apartments close to both services and nature. The group residence is located in a detached house in a larger residential area in Staffanstorp, within walking distance to the city center. Just 5–10 minutes from the residence, there is access to bus traffic as well as LIDL, City Gross, and other stores and shops offering almost everything. There is a common entrance, a shared kitchen, and a common room where residents have the opportunity to relax, have coffee and socialize, play games, do crafts, or watch movies. The property also has a cozy garden, laundry room, and staff room, all on the ground floor. The residents have a great need for daily support in all daily moments.
Torget 7, Group Residence
Ideally located in the center of Staffanstorp, the group residence Torget 7A offers good bus connections and is close to services such as grocery stores and restaurants. Bråhögsbadet and Bråhögshallen are a stone's throw from the residence and offer opportunities for swimming and sports activities. Sockerbruksparken, one of Staffanstorp's greenest recreation and nature areas, a tree-lined illuminated park, is also located only 900 meters from the group residence. The group residence comprises seven apartments, communal areas such as a living room and dining area, as well as a staff apartment. The residence is located on the third floor in a building in central Staffanstorp. The residents have varying support needs depending on the individual; some are independent in many tasks, while others have a greater need for support.
Who are we looking for?
We are looking for you with a big heart and a desire to make a difference. We would like you to enjoy working with people and have a strong sense of service. Additionally, you should find it easy to collaborate with others and have the ability to be flexible and responsive when needed.
- We prefer that you are a nurse assistant, childcare worker, or have another equivalent education.
- Previous experience working with LSS (Acts concerning Support and Service for Persons with Certain Functional Impairments) and care experience is highly meritorious.
- Good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written, is required.
- We prefer that you have good physical fitness.
- A manual B-driver's license is meritorious.

We apply individual salary setting and have a collective agreement. Interviews are conducted continuously, and positions may be filled before the application deadline. Great importance will be attached to personal suitability.
In the event of employment, you must be able to produce an extract from the criminal record register. You must also be able to prove that you have the right to work in Sweden, by showing that you have citizenship within the EU/EEA or alternatively a valid work permit.
