Job Description

AFRY in Skövde and Laxå has delivered several successful projects in industry, automation, and production in recent years. We are now continuing to grow and are looking for an Electrical Design Engineer who wants to develop technically sustainable and smart solutions together with an engaged team.

About the Role

As an Electrical Design Engineer at AFRY, you work through the entire project chain – from feasibility studies and design to final delivery. You have great opportunities to influence both technical solutions and working methods, often in close dialogue with the customer and project team.

Examples of tasks:

• Electrical and automation design
• Creation of electrical schematics, layouts, and technical documentation
• Sizing and calculations according to current standards
• Purchasing and ordering of electrical materials for projects
• Management of article and spare parts lists
• Participation in – and sometimes leading – development projects

Qualifications

You are an Electrical Design Engineer with a few years of experience, preferably from industrial projects. You thrive when taking responsibility, work in a structured manner, and have an eye for both quality and cost-effectiveness.

We believe that you:

• Have experience with electrical design within industry/automation
• Are confident in design standards and documentation
• Are driven, curious, and proactive
• Enjoy working in a team and communicate clearly with both colleagues and customers

You have good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written, as well as a Category B driver's license. Travel as part of the job may occur.

Additional Information

The position is based at AFRY's offices in Skövde or Laxå. The role may, in some cases, be subject to security clearance and background checks.
