About the role
We are currently looking for a Receptionist/Operator for our client, a retailer offering a wide range of electrical products for industrial and commercial use. The position is located in Älvsjö, Stockholm.
Your responsibilities
As a receptionist/operator, you are the face of the company and the first point of contact for visitors, customers, and employees. The role is responsible for creating a professional, safe, and welcoming environment, as well as ensuring that the daily flow in the reception area runs smoothly.
Main tasks
- Work at the switchboard during office hours 07:00-15:30 or 08:00-16:30 (the week after Midsummer, the switchboard closes at 16:00 until Aug 15)
- Work at the reception and greet visitors
- General administration within the department, such as mail handling, breakfast service, system updates, incoming and outgoing packages, booking conference rooms, email order confirmations, etc.
- Reconciliation of expense reports
- Ensure that visitor routines and security requirements are followed (e.g., visitor badges)
- Answer phones, handle the switchboard, and manage emails
- General administration and coordination
- Other customary tasks for the role may occur
Your personality

Qualifications:
- Upper secondary education or equivalent
- At least six (6) months of work experience as a receptionist and/or switchboard operator
- Good knowledge of MS Office or equivalent
- Experience using telephone switchboards and routing systems
- Ability to communicate fluently in Swedish and English, both verbally and in writing.
Scope and start date
Full-time, consulting assignment for 4 months, with the possibility of extension. Immediate start.
