Your Responsibilities

Fårbo Mekaniska is now looking for both a CNC Lathe Operator and a CNC Milling Machine Operator for our production. Here, you will work with contract manufacturing and varying parts in small series, often between one and ten pieces. The work involves great variation with both new projects and recurring jobs, requiring professional skill, flexibility, and an interest in problem-solving.

As a CNC Milling Machine Operator, you will primarily work with Mazak machines with Heidenhain control systems and be responsible for the entire process from programming to finished and checked parts. As a CNC Lathe Operator, you will work with Okuma machines and program directly in the machine. This also includes responsibility for the entire chain, from drawing to measurement and final inspection.

You will work closely with experienced colleagues in both the turning and milling teams and will never be completely alone. It is very important to us that the right person fits into the group.

Your Profile

The person who fits here is someone who preferably has a background in CNC, turning, or milling, but above all, you have a strong technical interest and a desire to develop. You enjoy understanding how things work, are eager to learn new things, and see challenges as something positive.

You adapt easily and thrive working according to common methods and routines. Collaboration is important to you, and working in a group comes naturally. You want to be on-site, engage in the operations, and take responsibility for your work.

You don't need to know everything from the start, but you must have the right attitude, be curious, open to new solutions, and have a positive attitude – this is crucial for thriving and succeeding with us.
