Are you ready for meaningful and varied work? We are currently looking for a District Nurse or Registered Nurse for the municipal home care service. With us, you will have an exciting and developmental role where you contribute to providing our patients with secure and person-centered care. This is a rotating position involving days, evenings, nights, and weekend work every third weekend. You will visit patients in their homes, as well as in care and nursing homes, and also serve patients within the LSS (Support and Service for Persons with Certain Disabilities) framework.

Responsibilities

You are responsible for the nursing care of patients within municipal health and medical care. Your duties include:

• Independent medical assessments and treatments.
• Planning, implementation, and follow-up of nursing interventions.
• Supervision and guidance of care staff regarding health and medical care issues.
• Close collaboration with the unit manager, social worker, occupational therapist, and care staff, working together for the benefit of the patient.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse (RN), preferably with additional training as a District Nurse.
• Strong teamwork skills and ability to work independently.
• Structured, flexible, and meticulous, with a holistic perspective on tasks.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Good knowledge of legislation governing nursing practice.
• Valid Class B driver's license.
