About the role

At Ikett Personalpartner, we are currently looking for a machine operator for sheet metal cutting using plasma and gas cutting machines for one of our clients in Karlskrona. If you live elsewhere, there is an opportunity to commute weekly, as we provide accommodation near the workplace.

In this role, you will work with cutting machines, burning sheet metal with a plasma torch and a gas torch. You will be working with various materials and shapes, so we look for a candidate who has a sense for detail and form, good material knowledge, and strong skills in reading technical drawings.

Shift work may occur. Start date according to agreement.

Your profile

Requirements:

• Education in industrial technology and/or experience in similar work.
• Good knowledge of reading technical drawings.
• Good knowledge of materials and sheet metal.
• Since the work requires good manual dexterity, we appreciate that you have an eye for detail, are meticulous, and enjoy working with your hands.

As a person, we want you to be responsible, goal-oriented, flexible, positive, organized, and have good teamwork skills, as the work takes place at our clients' sites.
