About the role

As a Technical Project Manager in our AMS (Live Working) unit, you will play a crucial role in helping Svenska kraftnät achieve its mission. In this role, you will establish structures, organization, and plans to handle a larger volume of live working methods.

We are now looking for you who want to become the next valuable addition to our growing unit. Perhaps you have experience with AMS work, such as calculations, preparations, or execution on the contractor or consultant side – if so, we would love for you to apply!

Together with your colleagues in the unit, you will be responsible for live working methods and the technical design of overhead lines, specifically regarding work with and near voltage. We provide specialist competence in live working methods and their impact on power line construction, for both project activities and asset management.

Your daily tasks include supporting maintenance and project activities with your expertise in live working methods to identify opportunities for work in this area. You ensure safe and well-planned work from a client perspective and provide technical support and assistance. Furthermore, you collaborate with other industry actors and authorities to ensure good conditions for safe work and more opportunities for AMS activities.

The AMS unit belongs to the Transmission Technology Department, specifically the Overhead Line Technology Section, which works with the technical design, specification, and development of our overhead lines. The unit and department belong to the Grid Division, which builds and manages our transmission network. At Svenska kraftnät, you will become part of a dynamic workplace with exciting challenges. About you

Requirements

The role involves many interfaces, both internally and externally, so we want you to find it natural to build relationships and collaborate to achieve our goals. You organize your work in an efficient and structured manner and do what is necessary to achieve good results.

In this role, you represent Svenska kraftnät in matters concerning live working methods with a focus on AMS, handling issues and discussions in the field in a secure and trustworthy manner. Our ideal candidate possesses a strong ability to find constructive solutions to emerging problems.

We place great emphasis on your personal qualities. Additionally, we require you to have an engineering degree or professional experience that we consider equivalent.

• Several years of experience in project work within electricity distribution, such as preparation, calculations, planning, or execution at the regional or national grid level (130 kV and above).
• Good communication skills in speech and writing, in both Swedish and English.
• Valid driver's license (Category B).

Meritorious Competencies

• Experience with AMS work within electricity distribution, such as preparation, calculations, planning, or execution at the regional or national grid level (130 kV and above).
• Experience with barehand methods, such as planning, calculation, or execution.
• Experience working in the national grid.

• We have offices in Sundbyberg, Gothenburg, Sundsvall, Luleå, Sollefteå, and Västerås. The workplace location can be discussed if necessary.
