Our Operations

Folktandvården S:t Per is located in central Uppsala with good transport connections and proximity to the central station. The clinic has 10 treatment rooms, all of which are modernly furnished. We practice modern, health-oriented dentistry, and the clinic has advanced competence in several subject areas. We work for a good working climate with a happy and positive atmosphere, good cooperation, and great opportunities for professional development as a dental hygienist. We also collaborate with other clinics in the vicinity.

We need more dental hygienists and are looking for both experienced professionals and recent graduates!

Your Role

Your position will offer a wide variety of tasks, and you will work both independently and as part of a team. The role involves standard dental hygienist duties, providing all forms of care for patients in all categories. However, the clinic has a large proportion of adult patients who are regular visitors, so you will primarily work with adult dentistry. We view preventive work and collaboration with other actors as a key part of achieving good oral health. We place great emphasis on your interest in periodontology and your ability to collaborate with others to provide the patient with the best possible care. External activities in schools may also be relevant.

As a new graduate dental hygienist at our clinic, you will participate in our mentorship program and be assigned a supervisor who will provide extra support during your first year.

Your Qualifications

To apply for this position, you must have completed a dental hygienist education and hold a license from the National Board of Health and Welfare (Socialstyrelsen). We value initiative and good communication skills with both colleagues and patients.
